Debbie Porres is a Corporate Development Associate at Embarc Advisors, supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raises, and corporate strategy projects, with a focus on financial modeling, market research, and project management.
Before joining Embarc, she worked for four years in Investment Banking at BroadSpan Capital in Miami, supporting restructuring, capital raising, and cross-border M&A transactions across the USA, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Her experience spans industries including renewable energy, industrials, healthcare, financial services, real estate, hospitality, and business services.
Debbie holds an MBA from the Chapman Graduate School of Business at Florida International University, and a BBA, Summa Cum Laude, with a double major in Finance and International Business, along with a Certificate in International Bank Management.
Originally from Guatemala, Debbie now calls Redmond, Washington home.
Outside of work, she enjoys swimming laps in the pool, painting, playing the piano, and exploring new places through travel.
