Kyla Mass

Kyla is Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner at Embarc Advisors, where she runs the operational infrastructure behind his calendar, client relationships, and business development efforts, keeping high stakes priorities moving with precision and discretion.

Prior to joining Embarc Advisors, Kyla spent 15+ years supporting C-suite and senior leadership teams, most recently as Executive Assistant to two Directors at Amazon Web Services. She has operated across venture capital, semiconductor technology, and cloud technology, with experience at firms including KKR, Kleiner Perkins, New Enterprise Associates, Ampere Computing, and AWS.

Her educational background includes an Associate of Arts from Cañada College, along with Anthropic certifications in Claude 101, Claude Code 101, Introduction to Claude Cowork, and AI Fluency: Framework and Foundations, with additional certifications in progress.

Kyla is based in Portland, Oregon, where she spends much of her time exploring the Pacific Northwest with her family, volunteering at her children’s school, and pursuing hobbies including building Legos, hiking, paddle boarding, and reading, alongside personal projects such as book writing and app development.
