Esther Thais

Esther Thais is an Associate Director of M&A Advisory with nearly 18 years of experience spanning commercial architecture, construction management, third-party logistics, retail M&A integration, and international shipping. Most recently, she served as an FP&A Director for a shared services platform supporting international shipping terminal operations, where she led financial planning and analysis across four terminals, overseeing roughly $1 billion in revenue, $761 million in OpEx, and more than $600 million in CapEx while managing a team of five.

Esther has experience across sectors including international shipping and logistics, third-party logistics, retail, and construction, with particular depth in terminal operations and capital planning.

She holds an MBA from Oklahoma State University, a BS in Business Administration from Eastern Illinois University, and her FMVA® certification.

Esther is based in the Scottsdale, AZ area. Outside of work, she stays active with hiking, mountain biking, motorcycle riding, and weight training, and unwinds with reading and cross stitching.
