John Bae

John Bae is a Corporate Development Associate at Embarc Advisors, where he supports clients across the full M&A and strategic finance lifecycle. He brings a strong foundation in financial modeling, valuation, client relationship management, and transaction execution, helping founders, executives, and investors navigate complex strategic decisions with clarity and confidence.

Prior to joining Embarc Advisors, John served as Director of Acquisitions at Primrose Schools Franchising Company, where he led and executed the firm’s roll‑up M&A strategy across the West Coast. Before Primrose, he was a Sr. Analyst at Croft & Bender, supporting sell‑side M&A advisory engagements, and a Sr. Analyst at Synovus Financial Corp., where he worked on syndicated national credit, middle‑market M&A financing, and leveraged finance transactions.

John has experience across a range of industries, including early childhood education, SaaS, industrials, consumer services, and financial services.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

John is based in Los Angeles, California, and enjoys staying active through weight training, golf, and tennis, as well as pursuing creative interests in music composition.
