Lauren Gomes

Lauren is a Strategic Finance Associate at Embarc Advisors, where she supports clients in navigating the complexities of their financial operations. She collaborates closely with leadership teams to develop and implement strategies that align with both short-term financial objectives and long-term strategic goals. Her work spans budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to help businesses make informed, data-driven decisions.

Prior to joining Embarc Advisors, Lauren spent four years at Fiserv, Inc., a leading global provider in the financial technology sector. As part of a competitive rotational program, she gained cross-functional experience across Corporate FP&A, Business Unit Finance, and Financial Systems—building a strong foundation in financial planning and operational strategy.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accountancy with a minor in Data Analytics, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration, all from Northern Illinois University. A former Division I student-athlete, she was a member of the university’s gymnastics team, where she developed discipline, resilience, and a strong team mindset.

Based in Wakukesha, WI, Lauren is passionate about fitness and personal growth. She enjoys working out, participating in her Bible study group, and spending time with her two dogs.
