Steve Wilson

Steve Wilson is a Corporate Development Associate at Embarc Advisors, where he supports M&A initiatives through financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and strategic evaluation of investment and partnership opportunities.

Prior to joining Embarc Advisors, Steve spent more than six years in valuation and financial analysis, most recently as a Valuation Director at Ernst & Young – Parthenon, where he advised private equity clients and portfolio companies on transaction, and financial reporting matters.

He has worked across several industries including private equity, financial services, technology, and asset management.

Steve has valued more than 300 portfolio companies and brings extensive experience in financial modeling, M&A valuation, capital structure analysis, and the valuation of complex equity, debt, and intangible assets.

He holds an MBA in Accountancy from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business and a BA in Psychology from Boston University. Steve is a licensed CPA in Illinois and New York and a CFA Charterholder.

Steve is based in Chicago and is fluent in Spanish. He enjoys biking through the city, fitness, cooking and spending time with his two children.
