Troy Carlson is a Corporate Development Associate at Embarc Advisors. In this role, he supports a range of strategic finance projects, including M&A and capital raises, working closely with clients, leads on financial modeling, market research, and presentation materials.

Prior to joining Embarc Advisors, he held roles at Benchmark International as a Transaction Support Associate, D.R. Horton as a Florida Region Analyst, and Pool Troopers as M&A and Integration Lead, gaining hands-on experience in high-volume sell-side M&A, regional financial analysis, and leading acquisitions for a private equity-backed home services platform.

He has worked across industries including real estate, business services, home services, and a broad range of sectors through industry-agnostic M&A advisory work.

He has supported numerous M&A transactions ranging from founder-led exits to private equity-backed growth strategies.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida.

Currently based in Tampa, Florida, he is passionate about health and wellness, personal development, and staying active. He also enjoys traveling and exploring new experiences.
