As a Senior Associate at Embarc Advisors, Preston focuses on advising businesses on financial strategy, capital raise, and M&A. He leverages his deep, comprehensive finance experience–ranging from analyzing Fortune 500 companies on Wall Street to guiding cutting-edge startups on their path to success—to achieve optimal results for clients.

Preston joined the Embarc team with over two years of experience as an investor, across both public equities and private companies. He had worked as an investment analyst at Point72–one of the largest Hedge Funds in the industry – and had covered a variety of industries ranging from technology to consumer goods/services. He also spent time in the Private Equity industry, where his specialization was in technology middle-market investments.

Preston’s educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Preston is based in Seattle, Washington and, outside of work, he has established himself as a skilled artisan in the area of handmade rug making.
